Bathtime Fun! ~ Bath Paint AND BATH SALTS- UPDATED

 Hi Blogspot(:

I wasn't even sure this was worthy of a post. Well, I shouldn't say it was unworthy... this is totally genius! I just wasn't sure that this was going to fill up a lot of space, that's how simple it is! So, here I am, back with a bath time lay recipe... bath paint! This stuff is the bomb.

Okay, so this just takes about two ingredients-

~shaving cream (I wouldn't recommend using women's leg shaving cream... unless you use a lot, and i mean a lot of it, it doesn't work as well as something foamier like a basic Gillette)

~and food coloring (probably optional... i would definitely recommend it, though! if not, you could also add something else like glitter that does not clog up a drain) I have also added kool-aid or other types of scents for any themed baths.

Just squirt the shaving cream and mix it with the food coloring! It is so easy, and also reusable if you store it properly!

*Please note that while most parents will be okay with a mess as containable as this one, you should always be granted permission before ever doing anything like this. Clean up all messes!

The bath salts are just as easy to make as the paint, but it takes a bit more time.

       What you'll need :
  •  Epsom, Kosher, or Sea Salt
  • Food Coloring
  • A scent of some sort... an extract like lavender, vanilla, etc... or perfume or body sprays (make sure nobody is allergic!)
Dump as much salt as you need for your bath, or for a few times later on. One or two handfuls should be enough for one. Then add the food coloring. It doesn't matter how much, just until you get the perfect shade of whatever color. Mix and stir until all of the salt is coated, then do the same again after spritzing a bit of the body spray or perfume or adding extract to the mix. After all is coated, leave in the bowl or lay somewhere else to dry... which it wil;l very quickly! When bathtime comes, add a handful or two under the running water and mix it all around... great smelling bathroom and another way to add color!

This is also a great "relaxation" tool (; (SPA DAY for the girlies! Eeps! Totally making a ost on that... probably.)

  Thanks a lot!
